Back in my early days, when South Lake Tahoe still had an operational tower, I royally screwed the pooch on a runway incursion because the hold short lines were covered by snow. I got royally bizottched out over the radio by the tower but that was all.
I didn't fly back there for six months. When I did, after I landed, tower announced "welcome back."
