Icom A21 - intercom

I have an Icom A21 that was given to me. There are issues with the older Icoms hooking them up to an intercom you need a special wiring set up. I see Pilot USA makes an intercom specifically for the A21 the PA-200IC does anyone use one?

Just curious if anyone uses the A21 with the PA-200IC and if it works well for them.
