He seems like a pretty normal guy who hit it big in business, and then found something to do with his time and money in retirement. Is his aviation story all that interesting, though? I mean, beyond just getting to spend his day gallivanting around in some really cool toys? I can't imagine someone with unlimited money is just going to sit around watching Netflix all day. Some people take up golf. Jeff Vinik bought a hockey team and built it into a powerhouse that won two Cups. This guy discovered aviation. Cool to see that he at least takes it seriously.
