Seen in the newspaper:

"Lot for sale on Waunakee Airport to build your perfect hangar. 4 Bedroom, tri-level, passive solar home included."

I would *love* to live on the Waunakee airport (6P3). All I can find is some google caches that say the house has 2.75 Baths (what's .75?) and 2350 square feet. The airport has a 2223x30 foot paved runway 9-27. :D

I was based there for about two years in the hangers down on the east end, before they were torn down and the new ones put in. I moved to Morey at that time (maybe early '06 or so?), when their new hangers lots became available. Nice little airport, and I enjoyed the company I kept there. I had a friend who lived there...(another story).
Took me some time to gather up the courage to try and fly there at night, but finally did. Landing on 9 at night is not for the faint of heart...

Cheers!

A half bath would be a sink and a toilet. A 3/4 bath would typically be a sink, toilet, and a small shower.

Cool! I live closest to Morey currently, but it sure would be cool to live right there with an airplane. The bonus would be not having to pay hangar rent!

Of course, buying a house there would also give me a really big excuse to buy an airplane of my own. :D Right now, I fly with a club out of MSN. It's a great club, but still... Depending on how I get there, I might drive right past both C29 and 6P3 on the way to MSN. How many people drive past two airports on the way to go flying at the third?

I think I first saw the Waunakee airport when I was about 10 years old, and I've wanted to live there ever since.

a 3/4 bath is a sink, toilet, and shower (it doesn't matter how small or big).

Notice that any fractional part of a "bathroom" does not contain a "bathtub".
