So do any of the POA'ers in Texas and surrounding want to create an aviation flash mob somewhere?
 
We will be in San Antonio but I wonder if there is a good fireworks show down my Jay's place.
 
Maybe if you ask his opinion between a zoom climb and Vy?
 
Come to Charlotte. I won't be here but I'm pretty sure Charlotte will be open on the Fourth of July.
 
We're having a party for my son's birthday on the second. We'll have plenty of cake.
 
Good fireworks at T82 (Gillespie County, Fredericksburg), at Lady Bird Park (adjacent to the airport, making the ramp the best place from which to watch).

I intend to be there.
 
Hmmm. Spousal unit is out of town that weekend.

Still looking for ideas for Sunday or Monday. BBQ, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Runs, Aviation Flashmob.

And I need to work on some IFR currency if anyone wants to safety pilot.

While Spike's idea to watch the fireworks is interesting, I need to be back in Denton before that happens at T82.
 
so, besides some pretty low boat-buzzing caught on video, what else did you end up doing last weekend?
 
About 12.5 hrs of flying, including 1 angel flight, and a 5-dog PnP flight. All flights in the IFR system, and I got about 1.3 of actual in the book.
