No, not I, certainly. It's the story title in the July issue of FLYING. The writer/owner is Dr. Ken Wolf, AME in Lewiston, ME. Ken has done all of my biennial medical exams. I haven't read the article yet, but I'm assuming Dr. Wolf still has his Robinson R-22; however, he must be out of ownership of the Mitsubishi MU-2 and had been on the early delivery "list" for the Eclipse 500.
A super nice guy, always with a smile, just like our Dr. Bruce.

Oh, pages 56 and 57.

just read it today..good read..seems like a pilots pilot too..

I've read the article and I always wonder about this fascination with jets for single pilots. I understand the fellow can afford it and while commuting from Maine to his vacation property in Florida he wants reasonable travel time. But while single pilot you have to wear oxygen mask anytime you are above FL350 (I think Part 91 is not exempt from this rule), well you can stay at or below FL350 but you will incur significant fuel penalty in the CiationJet. Anyway, even on Maine to Florida trip I would be very happy with a lowly PC-12.

I remember Dr. Wolf telling me that he could fly from Auburn-Lewiston, ME KLEW to the famous resort island off Massachusetts in 45 minutes in his Mitsubishi MU-2. I wonder how much the trip is shortened in the Citation. I'll have to ask him when I'm with him for my aviation medical exam. in August.
