Are you an A&P? Have you read the appendix for Preventative Maintenance and find that you can accomplish the task? Sounds like you need to pay to have that looked at. A gear malfunction can be a LOT more expensive than the A&P.Leak is coming from panel with 80 screws. Below front two seats. Any suggestions. Is there any issues to remove large panel.

FYI: if the only certificate that is in your pocket is paper and says "A&E" then you still can't practice as an IA since your mechanic certificate has been invalid since 2014 or so. Technically we're all certified mechanics with airframe and powerplant ratings.Could they still be an A&E ( Aircraft and Engine aka Anything & Everything?)
