how to wind a Wittnauer 8 day clock...?? (help)

Bought an old Wittnauer 8 day clock, seems to be running great... but can't seem to figger out how to set the time on it? Don't want to horse on the winding knob too much w/o knowing what I'm doing,.
Anybody know how to set this thing? Coaching would be appreciated.

Probably just pull out the winding knob.

tried pushing and pulling... both actions didn't seem to engage anything to move the hands on the clock... thought it best to find someone who actually knew what they were doing before I broke a nice clock...

Wittnauers are set by pulling the knob, unless it's a rally clock...
