How to upload photos to POA?

I thought there was a sticky for this, but I can't find it. I tried using Google photos to upload pics, but it didn't work.

Where's the tutorial on this?

The “upload a file” button handles photo uploads, as well as other permitted file formats. Once ‘in the system’, you can set the insertion pointer where you want the image, and choose thumbnail or full size.

The Forum software also is “copy & paste” friendly.

I couldn't get the copy and paste function to work. When I tried to upload it, it says the file was too large for some photos. I'll try to figure out how to reduce the file size.
 
I like to post pictures. Don't mind paying $20 per year for the best.

Some update killed my ability to upload pics!
iPhone 10
Running. ios 13.4.1
Recently noted just about every pic I try to upload is too large. Any screen shot too big, and pic I take too big. Unless it’s something. I download it’s too big.
My phone saves all pics as png files. The basic editor on the phone doesn’t let me downgrade to smaller file or lower res. Admittedly I used to be tech savvy but you turn your head for a min and you are out.
Any help for a quick fix??

The photo program on this iMac has a messed up file that was installed while the doing the update. now I can not post pictures on FB, here and, several placeless.
