How do you relax?

Hmmmmm...let me see....

Computer Gaming
Motorcycle Riding
SCUBA Diving
Working Out
Rum & Coke! :)
Flying
Reading

There are a lot of things I do to relax...though lately I have not been able to do any of them. :(

awesome! me, too. I have wild turkey sausage going into the smoker tonight. Thinking about a buffalo brisket for this weekend.

Buffalo brisket? I live 1/2mile from a feedlot that raises buffalo and I've never wanted to try the brisket......thought it would be too lean.

I could talk about smoke'n and fly'n all day. I'll have to pm ya.

later

FWIW, the current forecast includes a high of 82/81 for Friday and Saturday.

Thanks for the thought. My Son has a Westie also; actually the pics on here are of his male and I have a female (his younger sister). He'll keep Charlie and Charlotte and they'll be just fine. She really doesn't like flying that much and being outside for a long duration after that wouldn't be good.

You saw her up in Lonerock, Wisconsin when she was a small pup. I couldn't take her in the restaurant; so, she had to stay in her crate in the plane.

Best,

Dave

I don't generally feel a need to relax, but then again, I don't really feel stressed either. It's all controllable by you.

You , and Adam, have both made this observation, and I fully agree; on the days I start out with a nice workout, I think more clearly and get more done, and feel a lot better about it.

Whoa there, Spike. I didn't say anything about starting the day with exercise! I barely know which end is up that early in the morning. :P

Ah early is better Rich. I'm often at the Gym at 6:30 AM and there are actually folks there at 5:00AM that is a little scary IMHO

I need to find my relaxing place again. I don't have it right now. It used to be flying, but I can't fly often enough to do that now (saving up to buy a plane makes it hard to fly one).

The motorcycle is fun, but not really relaxing since people are trying to kill me.

The dog is fun, but more exciting than relaxing.

I need to start fishing again.

I would say flying is my way to relax and get away from the world and its problems but for now I'm still grounded while recovering. So I guess for now it would be kicking back taking a nap and dreaming of me torturing my PT person.

Seriously....some one on one time with the Bride makes life good again, dinner out, visiting friends or just sitting here at home laughing at the zoo doing their thing. Life is pretty simple I guess no need to really stress too much.

I love to hop on the bicycle after work and take a 10 mile or so ride. It isn't the distance, but it does keep me focused on not getting run over. ;)

Also, an hour or so flight post work is also great for clearing my mind.

I turn on my heating pad, lean back, close my eyes and listen to this:

Or any Chris Botti song for that matter.

I just rented the Chris Botti - Live in Boston DVD and had a "concert" at home. It was a lot of fun.

Add me to the list! About an hour in the gym or even just running a few miles helps winds the stress away. If I or Miss CT Arrow is lazy, we will do some boating or fly off to Block Island, RI and hang out on the beach for the day.

Great video Brooke! Anything smooth jazz is awesome!

This is what I had in mind when I said "music" this morning:

Jon Anderson (of Yes) is the vocalist. Unbelievably ethereal...
