The company that my wife works for is having their annual conference in Oakland, CA. My cousin lives in San Jose, but he was born and raised in Oakland. I'm trying to get him to come up and see us while we are there. He said he would come up for lunch, but he didn't want to be in Oakland after dark. Is it really that bad?
