Everything Offends Me
OK - so I forgot my camera again, but I did bring my cellphone with me to the airport today, and got a bunch of pictures. I'm getting checked out on Saturday, and after that, Imma fly all over the place :)

Here's some show and tell from me:

Awesome Nick,
It looks like it is in great shape on the exterior, congrats again on the plane.
I am ready to look in it at Gaston's

Congrats Nick, but one problem. The wings are on upside down! ;)

Uh-oh those are Fighting words! haha

Very nice, Nick. Cherokee 180's are great planes, you're gonna have a blast!

Nice looking plane, Nick, congrats!

Very, very nice. Congratulations!

Yea! I love the color, and the wings are exactly where they're supposed to be. Congratulations.

Chip

I like it but the panel's awfully hazy.

Seriously though it looks like a mighty fine airplane, and the best part is.. it's yours! Richard Bach often referred to planes he owned as magic carpets, and there's definitely some truth to that.

BTW what's the little round white instrument southeast of the altimeter? It looks like a itty bitty clock, but I think I see a digital clock on the far left.

It is a clock. One of the other owners suggested using the Digital clock for stuff that takes longer than a minute, using the analog for shorter stuff. He said it's easier that way.

I thought it looked like a clock. You can never have too many clocks in an airplane. I think I have four or five in mine!

Why so many?

It just turned out that way. My comment about never having too many clocks was intended to be tongue in cheek. When I got the plane there was one mechanical wind-up clock in the control wheel. I replaced that with a Davtron digital, and put the mechanical one in the co-pilot's wheel. The other clocks are in the WX-1000, the KLN-94 and the GTX-327 transponder has a timer.

Nick;

Very nice pics. It is always so exciting to have your own plane.

Enjoy and fly safe.

John
I guess this makes up for all the grief Nick caught awhile back for having decided on the 5th wheel travel trailer. Nick, you're now a player, I mean, collector.
