Yeah, but there's a lot of power available to give those volts something to work with from a 138 KV power line...a Taser doesn't have the raw power to back it up.As we say in Taser school, it's not the volts that kill ya, it's the amps

500 kV in the BPA grid in Washington state. At least, that's what we were feeding it off Lower Granite Lock and Dam on the Snake River when I was working for the contractor building it back in 1975.Still, 138 kV can ruin your day right quick.
