Horizon Air being re-branded in Alaska Airlines livery

I like Alaska Air and I really like Horizon. Even though it is the same company Horizon always seemed to treat the pax just a little nicer. Plus I love their microbrew of the month complimentry beverage. It is served even on flights of less than a hour. There were times I would go out of my way to get a Horizon Air leg. I wonder if now that they are dressing up as Alaska Air if the suits will want to change a few things to make the 'customer experience' more consistent. IOW reduce the nice stuff on Horizon.
 
Agree with Scott. Alaska remains one of the better travel experiences in the US, and Horizon was always a bit better.

Let's hope this doesn't make things worse.
 
The current statements are that the only real thing changing is the paint job on the outside of the plane. Everything else that makes "Horizon" "Horizon" stays. I hope so. I don't mind riding them across the state now and then.
 
I can remember getting a "hello" over the intercom from a friendly Horizon crew when I was sitting in the back...
 
Horizon brought commercial air service back to Santa Rosa, CA a few years ago. I'm very grateful to them for that!

Unfortunately, all the schedules seem to be set for folks to make day trips TO KSTS instead of FROM KSTS. But I try to use them as much as possible all the same.
