I honestly this thread was about the "Home Page", you know, like http://people.redhat.com/zaitcev/ (coincidentially I have it set in browsers as their homepages, because back in the old days a) I wanted to know if the server went down, b) built-in homepages were gross).
I use my own website as my homepage. http://tinyurl.com/unclegeorgesworkshop
That way, every time I start my browser I know
if my little server is still working ok.
Work: The work home page. It has tones of links I use almost everyday.
Home: Firefox's google page. It's light enough that I don't need to switch to blank like before. Besides, 50% of the time the first thing I opened FF to answer to some nagging Q anyway.
I have no idea!
I always just re-open Firefox to the eleventy-gajillion tabs I had open the last time I was using it.
Seems like I always have a bunch of research projects going, which results in clusters of tabs about each subject. Can't be bothered to save the links - they're only temporary. But heaven help me if I lose one of them!
