Suh--weet!

Dunno about ugly. I like it.

Nice! Now, what is that?

Oh duh, how did I miss the link.

I like it! I could fit lots of puppies!

I figured you guys would like it. For Andrew, it's shiny, fast, and will fit lots of books and pizza in it. For Ted, it has a crew door, tons of storage, and PT6s. And for both of you, I'd be happy to come fly it, at least on the weekends! :D

No no no no no. Singles to twins, good. Twins to singles, bad. :D

On a more serious note, that looks a lot like a Meridian, which has a much nicer interior than an Aerostar, but neither have very good cargo interiors. That's been one of the reasons why I've been sticking with the Aztec - there just isn't another plane out there that has comparable cargo room without a lot more fuel burn.

You saw this:
Cargo version

cargo_version.jpg

Big inner space having size of 176.4 in x 63.4 in x 54 in, volume of 334 cu.ft
(4.48 x 1.37 x 1.61 m, volume of 9.47 m3)
Bagage compartments of volume up to 113 cu.ft (3.20 m3)
Transportation of 3,200 lbs (1,451 kg) cargo
up to 400 nm (730 km)
Large 49.2 in (125 cm) wide and 51.6 in (131 cm) high entry door
Cargo transportation in standardized containers
Distribution of cargo space into smaller sections by means of nets

I think you could get a few dogs in there. And since they aren't particularly high-density cargo, figure more like 2400Lbs cargo and 675NM flight range.

Dang, that'd be a great dog hauler.

Paging guys with large checkbooks who want to make a big donation. :D
