Helping fight childhood cancer

I hope you'll take a moment to indulge me by reading this. I'm not sure I've ever posted a solicitation to PoA unless it was directly related to the maintenance of the site, and I only plan on posting this in this one thread.

That said...I'm shaving my head to raise money to help fight against childhood cancer!

I've been lucky enough over the last few years to work with a wonderful organization called St. Baldrick's. We build and maintain their website and have seen the amazing things that they've done. They're actually the second largest funding organization toward pediatric cancer research behind the US government. So far this year they've raised over $20,000,000 to help fund promising research.

I hope you'll consider learning more about this phenomenal organization, and if you so choose...donating on my head.

Not directly, no. You can donate by credit card at the link provided. You don't even have to give them any information. If you'd like to use paypal, I could probably have you send it to me and I'd pass it along as a cash donation.

Here you go! Freshly taken this morning just after getting home from the gym. Thanks to you and Leslie for your donation!

And here is a pic of me actually getting it shaved the day of the event. We had over 25 shavees the night of the event and we collectively raised over $12,000 for this life saving research!
