trying to find a thread about a sentimental flight/experience.....someone flew somewhere to see a movie I think maybe his father was somehow involved in....man I can't remember the details.....think it was a regular poster....might have been involved in making the movie or something like that........anyone? beuller?

Thread 'End of the Rope: My Flight to Hollywood'

As mentioned in another thread before my trip, I flew over 1,000 miles to California just to see a movie. Someone mentioned an ongoing dossier about me, so I figured I’d mess that up a bit with some facts. Here’s the story of how and why I made the trip. It’s a long post. Yep. That’s me. And I think the movie recently got included with Prime for you cheapskates who were interested in watching it but were saving your $5 or whatever it cost to pay for your restricted radiotelephone license.

It was. We watched it there in the last couple of months. I *think* I posted about it in your thread, I’ll have to check to be sure.

ETA: nope, didn’t post about it. I did show both threads to my wife and we also looked up a couple resources local to your area on the story.

I seem to recall looking your dad up/the story up on your state court system website and the county historical society.
