I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself.

I have been reading this board for a while and decided to register and post.

I am a middle aged student pilot working on getting my SP, I find this board a great source of education and entertainment!

Fly safe,
George

LOL... at least he put "entertainment" as second on the list!

Howdy, George.

Tell us more, we can inspire and delight. (grin)

Look forward to meeting you at a Fly-In some time.

Welcome George!
From the handle, I'm guessing Cessna 150.

Probably not, if he's going for his sports pilot. The Skycatcher uses an O-200D, though.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

Yes, I should have just said Sport Pilot.

Those who guessed 162 Sky Catcher are correct. Not what I started in, but it's what's available to me now, hopefully nobody bends or takes it somewhere else!:mad2:

OK, it was a toss-up! Just don't want to seem disrespectfull!

Welcome George.

Don't be surprised if we confuse you for the autopilot once in a while. ;)

Thanks again for all the wonderful welcomes!

Welcome, George. Enjoy the learning. A lot of "middle aged" people hang out here.

"Middle" can cover a lot of of range.

George

Well, 78.1 is the average death in the country according to the CDC, so all the folks who think middle is at 50 are a decade late.

Welcome George. Remember that middle age is always 10 years older than yourself, old age is 20, and youngster is anyone younger than you. So, you'll find most around here middleage or youngsters. At least that's my opinion.
By the way, I started at 36; when I was a youngster.

Sounds about right John.:)

I do feel like a kid when I fly though.

A kid learning to ride a bicycle.

A very complicated bicycle. With disasterous results if I fall down!

I need to fly more!!

George
