Rats - I can't find it ... somewhere on here (IIRC) we had a post of a hotel room that incorporated part or all of a Huey ... co-worker is a prior Army crew chief - I mentioned the hotel room and now can't find it.

Navigate to the cottages and click "helicopter". It's an actual 17,000 lb retired Coast Guard helo. I can't confirm the model, but I'm sure other here can ID it.

I now recall seeing that one (the Sikorsky), but that's not the room I'm looking for. The one I recall seeing incorporated an Army Huey, not a Navy/Coast Guard Sikorsky.

I remember a thread about a flying helicopter hotel, but it didn't involve a Huey. Is it possible you were remembering this?

yeah, I remember that one, as well. Wasn't it. This was similar to the Sikorsky above, in that it was a hotel room, cottage kind of layout, with the Huey incorporated into the room decor. Oh well, OBE now ... but thanks for indulging me anyway!
