Heard on ZDV today...

I was IFR from KBJC to KRAP earlier today. Shortly after being handed off to ZDV I hear the following exchange:

Pilot: Center, N123AB request direct my wife.

Controller: N123AB cleared direct Crazy Woman

Some other pilot: that's awesome.


Maybe I'm easily amused but I found that exchange to be hilarious.

I'd probably be chuckling for 50 nauticals at least in my 172. Ronca's clarification makes it even funnier.
