Did that coming home from my second long solo cross country to KMRY. During runup I had a huge BANG BANG BANG. Throttled down and all was well. Tried again, same result. All instruments were fine, couldn't figure it out. All set to taxi back for some serious maintenance when the tower called and said I had "somethin' hangin' out the door". Sheepishly pulled it back in and away I went. Fortunately it wasn't the buckle end but the loose extra seatbelt fabric. Not so much extra seatbelt these days.
