This drives me crazy.... er.

Memorial Day is a holiday to honor our war dead.
Veterans Day is to honor those who served our country in the military service.

Why do politicians, news reporters, and other insist on honoring the war dead on vets day, and grandma on memorial day?

Its good to hear words of thanks for our service.
Served 5 years in Southeast Asia in the 60's and Vietnam 1966 & 1967. Glad to be home.
So sorry for the many that didn't come home.

I hate Veterans Day. My, uh, she claims I'm not a veteran because I was never in a declared war.

I have three confirms to my credit. I don't say this with pride. I hated that crap. I just want to move on.
