All the best, to one of the best: Happy Birthday to you Nick!

Somebody send him the "Happy Birthday" ringtone!

Happy Birthday, Nick, and many more!

HBDTU! HBDTU! Don't built the Airplane (ok maybe afterward) but it's your Birthday.... what a great excuse to go flying!

Missa

Nick, happy birthday. I'll hoist one in your honor tonight.

Happy Birthday, Nick!! Now I've got a reason for a party tonight!

Happy bday nick! Hopefully you'll get a tail kit to unwrap today. ;)

Thanks everyone!! My plans for today are to go up to my parents for requested Hamburger Helper dinner (my favorite), continue to prep stuff in my garage for the impending build (fingers crossed, maybe I'll get an extra special announcement today from Vans....), and go out later with the sig other and some friends. The real party is tomorrow night.

Unfortunately, flying is not in the cards for me today. First flying-less birthday since I got my student cert, but that's ok. I still get to do aviation stuff, and that's all that matters!

Cool Nick's birthday is in St Nicholaus day......

So did St Nick bring you a bag of rivets???

Pete
Yes, I was named after St. Nicholas, because I was born on December 6. My name was to be Michael Johnathan ******. My parents were swayed by the doctor who suggested Nicholas. And St. Nick will bring me many a rivet very shortly!!

err.....but don't call me Nicholas. Its Nick.

.

Did anyone else catch that? Sig as in Significant other? Is this the girl that likes to hang from the ceiling by pierced nipples that you posted about a while back? Either Way my friend HAVE AND AWESOME DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What was that Tennessee Ernie Ford song's line? "Another year older and deeper in debt." ?

HBTU, Nick!

'twas a good birthday.

Spend hours sitting around playing video games with some of my friends. Then went over to my parents' house for the requested Hamburger Helper and Brussels Sprouts, with chocolate cake and peanut butter and chocolate ice cream. Mmmmm....

Made out with some decent loot from the 'rents, too. Got a Christmas tree ornament that looks just like Piper, got a 1,000,000 candle power spotlight, and a 1/5th of Seagram's Canadian Whiskey (for the obligatory Birthday Seven/Seven).

Went out barhopping with the SO for a little while and capped off the night with a little "party" at my house. Everyone (except me) has to work tomorrow, so we cut it early, but we're really doing the birthday celebration tomorrow night.

This would have been a completely aviationless birthday, but I'm about to go into the garage and start playing with my rivet gun and building my toolbox.

Seagrams and spending quality time with the rivet gun. My kind of fun.

OTOH, when I was your age I had my **** together. That's right, uphill, both ways. Decked stacked against me, etc.

Nick,
Glad you had a good B'Day, and hope you didn't do anything wild and crazy with the rivet gun after those "Seven/Seven's", especially if it involved the SO hanging from the ceiling by her...:hairraise:!

OOOOOOooohhh, you know how ta live! :dunno:

Belated Happy Birthday, Nickster!

Glad you got some good loot too. To many of us December birthday people get ripped off as our birthdays are too close to the holidays.

Yeah, 12/21, I always got "combo" gifts growing up. Uncool. :(

AMEN!!! 12/14 here...

12/15 for me and my mother in law is 12/22, she understands too.

PJ, my mom would have liked for me to have been born on that date, 14th. That is the day her father had passed away when she was a little girl, but I had to wait until a little after 2am on the 15th. Even at birth I was jet lagged and awake in the middle of the night. ;);)

My mom's birthday is 12/12, and I caused a false labor that caused her to miss her birthday dinner. Needless to say, it was a false alarm and she got to go home later that night, just to go back to the hospital and have me a day and a half later.
