Thank y'all very much, I had a pretty good day, but got a piece of somewhat bad news when mom called. She goes in on the 12th for a lumpectomy. Good news is it's only a 1.25cm mass. They found a cyst last year, and this years biopsy on it showed cancerous cells. Looks like they caught it very early and the doctors are very optimistic of a complete elimination of the problem.

Glad they caught it early. Cancer sucks. Hope it all works out well.

Thanks, I'm pretty optimistic, my dad went through 2 rounds, once in the intestines 40 years ago (no recurrance) and prostrat about 6 yrs ago, again, still clean. Funny thing is, here are two people who never smoked, my mom doesn't drink, my dad extremely rarely, eat healthy, live healthy... yet still get cancer. I figure, might as well smoke and drink and live a hedonistic lifestyle since I'm bound to get it anyway....:cheerswine:
 
eeeh a lot of that is just genetics Henning. My best for your mom. I'll keep her in my thoughts and keep up the postitive attitude!

Glad to hear that your dad is still clean at 6 years. I had mine out 4 weeks ago this Friday, so it's a little early to tell, but all looks good so far. Keep up the good thoughts.
