Happy Birthday and Thank You, America.

As an immigrant, I find myself swelling with gratitude, not just on July 4th....but every day which I have been permitted to participate in the American experience.
I came here in 1991 from Canada. I will always have strong and positive feelings about my country of origin. However, in the last 19 years I have felt truly blessed by all that America, and Americans have generously offered to me. This is a wonderful country, we are all so fortunate. May that I be able to repay even a tiny fraction of what it has provided to me.
