Guess who closed the airport today?

I had similar experience in Camarillo, CA last year.

First time I had my Father with me, and on landing (172) the right main went flat. Boy did that sucker pull to the right.

Went off the side of the runway and stopped without hitting any runway lights or dropping the prop. (Keep yoke BACK)

Took about 25 minutes to get towed to parking.

Recently, preflighted, run up, taxi a thousand feet, suddenly taking more power to keep going, stopped, got out, flange of left main hub had broken and sliced the tire. We borrowed a hub/tire off an erro, uhhh, Arrow and taxied back to the hangar. Stuff happens. Better than on landing.
