I saw a beautiful Grumman Goose at Lake Hood. Wow, it was perfect. Not a floatplane, but an actual flying boat. I also saw a PBY at the museum there in much need of restoration but still spectacular.

Sure are cool looking.
I know that some European light planes now have 5 blade props to meet their stringent noise regs.
 
Hey Jay congrats! I got my PP in and AA1-C and an AA1-B. You'll have t fly it out to KPVC and give me a ride when I visit family this summer.
