I just read that Grits Gresham, hunter, fisher, writer and most importantly, dad to Tom Gresham, passed away Feb. 11th. I haven't seen Tom on the board in a while, but our condolences for his and his family's loss go out to him.

Thanks, Greg. Dad packed a lot into one life, to be sure. He traveled to all the continents except Antarctica, hunted/fished/golfed with celebrities and sports legends, wrote a bunch of books, was on national TV for two decades, and even broke a story about Ronald Reagan that no one had ever heard (about Reagan using a gun to save a nurse who was being mugged).

He loved traveling in my planes. As he got older and it was harder for him to climb on the wing of the Bonanza and then the Baron, I bought a Twin Bonanza with an airstair door. He liked that one. Me too! I'm back in the TN A36 Bonanza, now.

Oh, you can still see some of his Miller Lite commercials on You Tube by searching for his name.

I'm very sorry for your loss. Our's too as I remember watching your Dad on T.V many year's ago with his apperance's with I believe Curt Gowdy on the "AMERICAN SPORTSMAN".
Those were the good old day's when us kids would want to go out fishing or hunting ,not today where it's video games and IPOD's.
I hope your Dad enjoyed his life,it sure seemed like a great one.
Brad

Tom,

Sorry for you loss. I didn't know much about your Dad, but I'm going to do some research and try to read some of his stuff. I love the outdoors too!

Edit: Tom, just saw you speaking about your Dad on Youtube. Did you know this was on there?
