Great visit to GA2 - short field, soft field, sloping runway, and great food!

Really enjoyed a weekend visit to GA2 for lunch. Preference seems to be land uphill unless winds are clearly unfavorable. Crosswind on our visit so we landed uphill and took off downhill.

GA2 Peach State (not Peach Tree PDK) is one of my favorite spots. Has a great restaurant, and a great hang out space. It also has a big covered porch / patio to chit chat with the other pilots. Planes are parked in the grass a few dozen feet away. Usually a nice mix of everything from Cessnas, Cirrus's (Cirri ?), Bonanzas, Pipers, and of course some nice looking RV's.

Has self serve fuel if you need it.

And yes, unless you have a strong wind from the east, plan on landing on 13 and departing on 31.

So where is GA2? Give us a location, a tiny clue...

He did give a location and tiny clue.

I believe someone recommended this airport to me as well while I was heading back north and it was an awesome airport, loved the restaurant, dog friendly, outdoor seating, was super fun, great food and southern hospitality.
