Great Lakes/Midwest February Lunch

Oh, I wish. You can live in an airplane, but you can't fly a house... Except Kelsey tells me I can live in an airplane, alone! We'll be getting married soon and having kids soon thereafter, and in the early stages I don't know if I'd be able to fly enough to justify ownership. It's probably a good 10 years out for me still. :(

That's why you get the plane first, then worry about the girl. Derrrrrrrrrr.

Sigh... I'm likely to be plane-less starting the week before that. :( :( :(

Wish I could have made it today - Looked like a beautiful day here. Instead, I was performing in a benefit concert that raised over $16,000 for a homeless shelter.

Good job on the shelter benefit.

Airplane selling?

Well, what good is a plane without a girl to share it with? I believe you yourself have discovered that.

And it's not like I planned for the girl. She just happened. And when you find a girl who likes GA as much as this one does (and has a zillion other positive things about her), you keep her!

Airplane selling?

Well, nothing's done 'til it's done, but it's lookin' that way.

At least till they tap you on the shoulder and point to their mic.

Keep pushing buttons without hitting the ISO button, and keep talking like you are trying to fix the problem.

Just a suggestion here... but how about Nappanee, IN (C03)?? I know that wouldn't be too far for me to fly for a day trip and we could eat at The Inn at Amish Acres. I haven't been back for awhile and this might be an incentive for more ladies to show up... shopping. Check it out...

The airport is close and if there is interest, I can find out about transportation availability and restaurant reservations for our group. It might be a little more fun than just the usual everybody land at an airport and sit at the restaurant on the field and eat.

I can do that... Oh. Dan and I are flying (teaching) that morning. Have to pass.

:)

Uhhhhhhh, no.

Is this a place to shop for unbelievably expensive airplane parts?

Baskets, I'd bet. ;)

That said, I suspect we're probably better off finding places that don't require transportation (unless the restaurant is happy to run shuttles). After all, we don't have Kimberly Anne to arrange it for us.
And, we (smartly) tend to stagger our arrivals so as not to overwhelm the pattern.

Shall we start another thread for the March Lunch?

That's why.

Well, perhaps it would be better to stick with somewhere with a more general appeal to everyone. :)

We can go anywhere, I was just giving you a hard time. Chances are that we will be gone for spring break. I am still working on that!!!
