The GD played Sweet Magnolia on Letterman tonight but I thought the performance was lousy. The lead singer was off key much of the time and the lead guitar fumbled a bit. I miss Garcia.

Isn't that the GD trademark?

:D What I was gonna say. Is Jerry alive?

Besides, being off key is fine for a star these days. I still can't get what a heard when I was in the other room and the TV news played an excerpt of Madonna's Chicago show. Then the anchors said, "Quite a show." I guess. If you're watching instead of listening.

I was never a big Dead fan. Just not my style of music. I do like a few songs though. I think most of these 60's rock bands should just hang it up. Many have different members and the ones that are original members are so old that they are just a charicature of their former self.
