Hello everyone...I got a friend I am trying to help out with some help from my friends.

My buddy has a Cessna 337 (pressurized, de-ice, Rolls Royce engines) that he is trying to trade for a Cessna U206. He flies humanitarian relief in Guatemala. He has been stateside looking for a good 206 since last fall after an asymmetric flap deployment on final destroyed his 336.

Does anyone know of a good place to make this happen? We are currently going to start running down the list of "for sale" 206s and see what we can scare up. It could be time consuming, so I thought I would take a few minutes and see if anyone knew of a place that could help this transaction along.

The 337 is a cream puff and it just came out of annual/refurb with new props, so it is ready to go, just not to the rough jungle strips in Guatemala....

I assume you mean, "really nice engines" when you say Rolls Royce...

Anyway, my 2 cents would be to ferry the 337 here and get it registered in the U.S. I don't think the P-337 is very popular (not many were ever built), but registering it here would probably make it a lot more likely to sell than having it registered in South America. You're friend is going to have to write a check to get a 206...

I forgot who I was talking to when I posted. I should have put all the gory details in the original post. :smile:

Yes the engines were physically manufactured by Rolls-Royce. They are licensed TSIO-360s with an 1800 hr TBO.

N6CV is currently in Venice, Florida awaiting hangar space in Michigan so is can be flown here to wait for its new owner, whoever that may be. I was not very clear in the original post. The aircraft was donated to Great Commission Air for use in Guatemala, or to trade for a 206 to use in Guatemala.

Other than a Cessna dealer I can think of no place better than western Canada to find a U206. Well, maybe RobAir in Silverdale, WA. Rob's number is (360) 692-3538.
 
Has it been sitting unflown since July 2001? That's the date of the last annual photographed in that set of pics.

It has been flown a since then. They flew it to Florida to have an extensive annual done, and it is going to be flown back to Michigan.
I will put that number on my list of folks to call too! Thanks for the help!
Anybody else got "a guy"?
