How do you search for a specific airplane, when you are only give the make & model and the last 2 N numbers?

IE NspacespacespaceAB does not work (space meaning underline or "_")

The second link is the N number requirements. I don’t think this lmgtfy hit the mark

Partial N-numbers can be entered. The note says something along the lines of "N-number contains"

Do you know what state the aircraft is registered in? There's an option to search for aircraft by state, make, model, type, county, etc. It'll take two different searches - first the state/model will list all the aircraft with that criteria. Download the results into Excel, slice, dice, whatever. Then because you know part of the N Number, just do a quick search for that string from that result. Should get you to the aircraft.
