Good short documentary on Netflix

"Mayday: The Passenger Who Landed a Plane"

I enjoyed this one. Not a bunch of fake drama, just reality.
 
I've found several great documentaries on Netflix lately. The best is called Dirty Money, and you'll want to watch the one on Enron and the one on Scott Tucker (the payday loan industry).

Another good documentary on Netflix is called Water and Power - a California Heist.

Not a documentary, but I tripped across a gem yesterday called A Perfect Day. Funny, funny ending.
 
Watched History of Chicago (the band) on NETFLIX, excellent. Oldest R&R band in the land they claim, the Stones have them beat though, 1962.

Wow. I knew nothing about the payday loan industry before watching "Dirty Money" but all I can say (without spoilers) is WOW.
 
If you have a chance, Netflix has a fascinating documentary called “The Push”.

Won’t say much, but I’m familiar with Derren Brown and he puts out some interesting stuff.

There’s another on YouTube called “The Heist” along similar lines.

Saw that one when it aired on TV. Liked it. Love me some Chicago. Seen em' live thrice.

Yup. They put on a great show. Liked them from the beginning back in the 70s.

I was, and I remember this girl turning me on to them in the late 60s I guess. Their second album is the one that got everyone's attention, and then I went and bought their first album, which was great as well. To me Chicago is defined by the first 4 albums, 3 studio albums and a fantastic live album that covered material from those 3 studio albums.
 
For whatever reason, when a Chicago song comes on the car radio, it’s a contest as to whether Karen or I will change the channel first.

No accounting for taste, I suppose!

Something about the 70s, a lot of estrogen going around or something, but a lot of guys sang in high-pitch voices back then. Chicago, Air Supply, BeeGees, and worst of all America. I'd cringe every time Sister Golden Hair would come on.
 
Yep something about the 70s alright, I think it was a great time for rock music as there was something for everyone. Great music was created from the early 60s thru the disco (yuk) error of the late 70s. Sure drugs played a big part and the times (VM war, social unrest etc), and my generation thinking they could change the world. One thing about Chicago, they're been playing for over 50 years now and still tour. They claim they're the longest playing band but I think the Stones for one have been playing longer. Maybe they mean the longest playing American band.
 
Chicago was the first concert I ever went to back in the day. Hard to see the indoor stage thru the MJ Haze in the building. Went to another Chicago outdoor concert last summer. About 50 years apart:cool:

One of my favorite channels on Pandora.

Saw them a few years ago, 2 hours worth. Great show. That's pretty cool seeing them 50 years apart. Only thing I wish is that their guitarist Terry Kath was still alive.
