Good morning! Last night, a blue norther came through with low clouds, spitting rain and cold. Despite our insistence last week that winter be over. However the clouds are gone and it is blistering bright out, need sunglasses. Maybe it will get above 40 and we will hike!
 
I'm sitting at w*** today, about to get back down to converting these cobol programs. Only a couple more to go, then maybe I'll be done with the junk. :mad2: :D
 
Lazing about in Cape Coral, FL. Trying to figure out what to do today.
 
Trying to wake up, then i'll do some yoga, then hop on a motorcycle and go to work for a couple hours of OT.
 
Just cleaned the ice and snow off the car and fixin' to head to BNA to catch a flying tube to CLT for the week.
 
left at 6:30AM for my daugther's lacrosse tournement caught the first two games then off to work. now taking a break on POA:D
 
Had to cancel my PPL checkride this morning for the 4th time (three weather, one mechanical). Cold, blowing, drifting snow here... Rescheduled for friday, fingers crossed.

Beautiful? It's cold .. it's snowy .. the wind is blowing like
crazy. And you're happy? I want some of what you're smoking.
 
Caught the 1015 flight to work, now just waiting for 1430 so I can actually go do work. And hoping todays snow storm holds off until about Friday.
 
Fixin to go out to the airport.... and check on a few things... pondering a partnership in a super decathlon and how those things work - research upcoming....

Ft. Davis Dave, we came in last night about 7:30 down thru the clouds and actually picked up ice on the leading edges of Walt's C-206... First time I've seen that. Jeepers it was cold and the wind was gusting to 27 - but today is gorgeous

I'm home with a bug, trying to keep from spreading it.
 
We avoided snow day #2. Just some rain this morning. We got 3 1/2 inches on Friday. Gone now.
 
Recovering from 36 hours of airline travel, trying to deal with post-vacation blah, and unpacking. On the plus side I'm enjoying a paid holiday from work and it is sunny and 40 degrees F here.
 
Just got home from work, wrote one loan app.

Probably should head to bed, we're getting snow and I'm gonna need to snowblow the driveway tomorrow AM for the first lady....

It was sunny all day and gentle breeze, got up to mid 40s. Hiked 8mi with 750' vertical ascent. Gorgeous scenery and mind-clearing tranquility.

Jeanie, let me guess - from the looks of the clouds last night you probably were only in them a few minutes and the ice was...trace rime? Sure looked uninviting out - I was amazed at the sunshine today.

I've seen that stuff on a C-182 a couple of times. Sure gets your attention, doesn't it? Really glad to get out of it both times.
 
Well if I was Geico Id be flying that RV3 all over the place. Maybe that's what makes him so happy.

I just finished skate skiing 12 or so miles and feel like a million bucks!

Just flew 6 approaches in the 172RG and am now IFR current. It was a good day for me.
 
Stuck needles in people for several hours today. Then came home and made cupcakes for Tom to take to his ground school class at PSU. Then had a :wineglass: Then had a blinding flash of a revelation about what to do about the next flying adventure. I'm going to finish my grass strip tour in May! I'm soooooooooooooooooo excited!!!!!! :goofy::goofy: Now, I have to figure out how to break the news to Tom when he gets home. :D

Thanks, Troy! :) Well, I was trying to figure out the best way to break it to Tom this morning but he figured it out when he read my Facebook post. :D Ooops! :D
