Good first plane , good price ?

Nice looking plane. I was trying to stay away from Narco navs though.

I'm going to have to get over to Mississippi and get you in a Bonanza. Plane is in Orangeburg at the Avionics shop right now but I'm going D->M40 the first chance I get.

haha bring it on, we will go to the sims as well!

You know that one has been for sale for a while. I actually think it was way cheaper but I think they added the 430 and what not and put it back on the market for more.

I noticed it popped back up. Wondering what the deal is. Have you asked about it?

No I havent. Since the upgrade and the higher price it pushed it out of my price range. It looks good though, I like that green.

Save up man. That thing is the forever plane. You can turn back the go knobs and save money, or move along rather smartly. My single complaint about the mid-year Bo is that they have the same onerous spar AD applied.

Congratulations on your new plane!

Update :

We was able to go down to Dallas/Denton today and pick the plane up - great day of flying and I learned a lot and got some cross county out of the way - it flew great and overall I am pleased with the plane - I did end up paying the $34,900 for it and who is to say if I paid to much or not but that's water under the bridge and I am happy with it. I look forward to learning more and will more then likely be asking more questions along the way in my training and beyond.

Thanks to everyone for their help and advice

Kenny

Excellent, enjoy it.

I am looking at (within a day of purchasing) a nice little 1975 piper warrior ......Any advice would be great

I bought my first plane.. A 1975 Warrior. N4341X when I had 1.5 hours in my log book... Never looked back and flew her for 500+ hours... I LOVED that plane.......:)..

Bought it for 11 grand and sold it 7 years later for twice that amount... The memories I got from flying her all over are PRICELESS...;)
