I don't know if it's the same people that operated the now-defunct GOANA Australian flying adventures, but there's a new group doing the same thing:

Also, there's a catchy little tune called "Papa Whiskey November" that plays when you go to the site, by John Williamson. My favorite line is in the chorus: "She's in love with a pilot, he's in love with the sky."

They eliminated the digeridoo from the site's music, not cool.

Kent, it's a whole new operation with different ownership.

I'm glad to know the guy who founded this company. I've got about twenty-five hours in his first airplane after getting his initial ticket, 822TK. The tail number got several controllers to stumble from time to time. It involved his wife's birth date and initials. Danielle flew in the same plane during my visit as her first ride in a glass panel. I can see it has since been exported to Australia.

Mick had wanted to do this for a couple years after an existing operation had shut down when Australia tightened down on issuing privileges based on foreign certificates. Two years ago, Australia somewhat relaxed the regulation so he began the process and got the business started about a year ago. I'm glad to see it's off and running.
