lots of FLARM discussion at the SSA Conference last weekend. supposed to be out in April. Several of the guys in our club got them. Its on my list of eventual upgrades...

Wow, the new PowerFLARM, if that's what your describing, sounds enticing as a portable product, given the multiple methods it looks for traffic: ADS-B, Mode-S, other Flarm units nearby, and even terrain warnings.

yes, PowerFLARM is what is being approved for use in the US
