GI-275 HSI/EIS

Can I do that? What EXACTLY do I order to do it?

Gonna pair with a 650, 330ES and a Garmin audio panel of some sort.

Already have the 650 and 330ES transponder.

If not legal, how about EIS/CDI combo?

The a/c is a 182A.

I’m going to add a GI275 for EIS and put it in place of a GI-106B CDI. My av tech thinks it can be switchable between EIS and CDI. If so, possibly HSI but would require a GMU (magnetometer) if so. I will ask him next time I see him.

It can not be switchable between EIS and and HSI. EIS is a dedicated display.

You would need a magnetometer installed if it is an HSI.
