Getting a 91.47 LOA from FSDO

Anyone been down this road in recent years? How much trouble/what did the FSDO need to issue the LOA?

You should read FAA Order 8900.3, which tells Inspectors how to do this. Don't worry -- it's only 8 pages, and one of them is mostly blank.

Just helped a friend with one last year, its pretty straight forward. Mechanic will be named and on your drug program as well as the pilot.
