Gaston's regrets

Toby, The closest room is in Yellow Pine, about four miles down the road. It is a quite little town except for once a year when they have the harmonica contest.:goofy:
Oh, now I remember your telling me about that!

Oh, well. I don't camp, so I probably won't make that one.

:goofy: Terry, Come on girl get busy on that PP. We could have a fly-in at the Chamberlin Basin airstrip. ( no flush toilets or hot showers) Great camping and an occasional moose walking through camp. About 35 miles to the closest road. Out in the middle of the Frank Church Wilderness Area. ( Idaho)

now where is a good drooling icon? Sounds like my kinda place. Fishing. too? One gets tired of eating moose after a week or so. Hopefully before spring I'll have it. Have to stop making carrier landings first. :D

I have two that immediately come to mind.

I regret not having a cooler set up with bottled water to greet every arrival when they shut down.

I regret not having a larger shade tent on the flight line for attendees to escape the direct sun and still be able view the runway......

Ditto.

I was exhausted and didn't really realize it at the time because of the fun.

Must have more water next time.

I would be inclined to agree, Bruce. But her boat, her choice. I just drive the thing, fix the thing, and pump out the holding tank.

Bruce, I'm more of the motor yachting set -- less work, more time to mix the cocktails! -- Cathy

"Ease her pain"

But it's never really over for you with your Field of Dreams <ah> farm. ;)

"Build it, and they will come"

I sense a movie coming on....

Well, since you mentioned that Bill, I just had to get a few pictures of the Citabria and the corn. :)

#3 is a very nice picture!

Citabria of the Corn :hairraise:

Ya but...ya but...ya but....you can take the Island Packet all the way to the Irish Sea :-0

That's actually pretty weird. Carol H. and I were sitting out there one night, getting spooked by the corn, and talking about Children of the Corn.

Well, we would have to use Chip's "Yellow Peril" Citabria in the leading role since it would blend in better with the flora, and go undetected until it jumped out at unsuspecting people. ;)

Even scarier would be Chip jumping out of the Citabria at unsuspecting people:hairraise:
I have some VERY appropriate pictures that I could post now in line with the theme of this thread, but it might be in the "regrets" department and I might not ever get a ride in the Extra again.

However, I do recall Chip jumping out of my Citabria, dropping on all fours and kissing the ground after one of my "-9" landings in front of a crowd (Scott can attest to that).
