Line Up and Wait
Looking at open source credits for Garmin Pilot , there are tons of Objective C libraries etc .. which means iOS codebase for GP ( and most likely development teams ) are entirely different than their Android versions.

That is consistent w/ the fact new features are released on Android well after they appear on iOS.
