I’ve been testing GP on an iphone and an android tablet for most of the last month and came across a weirdism today.

I was using the android tablet to pull the ILS Y 16 at SKF. Using the wheel selector to bring up the airport info, GP on android did not populate the approach in the PROC tab.

But going to the airports tab, the plate is available.

Same behavior on the iphone, except if I can select the ILS Y 16 from flight plan > Proc >Load

Q: Can anyone replicate this behavior?

GP on iPhone, if I go to the radial menu, procedures, it’s not there:

But if I go to charts it is:

Yep, that’s the same thing I’m seeing. This is a weird one.

I'm seeing the same thing on my ipad. The LOC/DME Y RWY 16 is also missing from the options available from the PROC tab, but it shows up n the chart section. One interesting thing is the lack of the option to show on map for the these two procedures.

I just emailed garmin aviation support; we’ll see what they say.

for some reason that chart is not georeferenced. That’s why it doesn’t overlay. Same in the iOS Pilot. When you pull it up you can see that blue outline that indicates georeferencing is missing. If a chart is not georeferenced it does not overlay.

I don’t know why it’s not. It is georeferenced in ForeFlight.

Thanks for that tidbit. I cross referenced iFly and it’s definitely georeferenced there. Garmin sent me the standard 1-3 business days for a reply.

I looked at it in FlightPlanGo (iPad and iPhone) and it shows as not georeferenced there, too.

same for me, it shows in charts, and on the ipad i can select it as a procedure but i can't see it when select procedures from either the ipad or the android

so kinda sounds like it's not a GP issue specifically.....
