Any thoughts, observations, opinions, criticisms...

I find it much more user friendly than the G-1000.

Anyone fly rhe SR-22 using this system?

Absolutely love it!

Seeing the avatar, you ever fly into Somerset?

I think he means the standard G1000 without the keyboard and synthetic vision.
Standard G1k has SV. Its just an unlock done with a micro SD card or something like that.

I see it has a "flight path marker". Thats pretty cool. The plane I fly only flys in path and roll modes so I can appreciate path.

Been there and to just about every airport in the State.

Very cool, I hear you guys on the radios occasionally up by Caldwell, then got an up close look at the bird in Somerset one time a few months ago.

I like the LVL function. If things go bad and you're disoriented just push the button and Wings Level.

That can be a life saver.

I fly Garmin Perspective and love it! I flew an Avidyne R9 and truth be told if I had the choice I'd take the R9 but that's not really options so...

@Jordane - you ever fly the R9 ? lot different.
