garmin 175 app

So I downloaded the app to my iPad. Created a simple route KFTG CELMI KAPA (the app doesn’t have the new airport identifiers). Store it in the catalog. Yep, that works, I can close the app, reopen and it’s there. Set altitude and speed. Hit the Activate button. Nothing happens. The map is centered in Oregon. Nothing is movin.

Anyone got any ideas?

I played with it and got it to center here in NC....will move from point to point.

Not sure what I did, but t works.

I set gps position as our local airport...it starts here.

I encountered the Central Oregon thing also, very frustrating, called Garmin. As I recall, when the flight plan page is first displayed, you press the “Demo” button in the upper left corner, then delete that Oregon waypoint. It’s then no longer there when you start up.

And as for the aircraft not moving, you have to adjust the airspeed up from zero.

Click "Demo" on the left, and then you enter your position
