Today was a tense day of flying for reasons I wont go into but when it was all said and done, at the end of that stressful day, I have this photo which makes me laugh. Mrs 6PC loves to read so I brought this for today's flight.

How's your insurance? Is the mrs. A pilot? Be carefull.
 
Looks to me she is plotting not reading?
A simple pull of the carb heat on take off, open the door and roll out onto a soft grass strip? Works ever time.

Maybe it's your subtle way of asking her to carve off the money to budget for your instrument rating?

PS. It was kinda nifty to "encounter" you in the air as we both were approaching DTO yesterday.
 
The device on the dash looks suspiciously like an electronic Landing Calculator.

That was funny. Sorry I wasn't quite sure how to respond. I don't know how freely we can speak on control frequency. And I had just come off a high stress situation and right into a non-aviation related high stress situation.

"Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue" :)

This was 6PC's Father's Day gift. It did feel like a weird gift, but he'd been asking for this book. Wish it was a little more "how-to." :wink2: :lol:

Not this week. Got my mom's birthday celebration on Wednesday. Busy week for us.
 
HAHA As long as I get to fly from time to time, she can control the schedule.

Edit: And the laundry. No way I could figure out how to wash anything other than jeans and black t-shirts. Tried and failed many times.
