Make sure he gets the new comfy seats. CAP G8 is terribly uncomfortable, Gipps offered to replace the seats for free (we're talking the remaining 3-5 G8s that CAP has) but CAP said no thanks. Foolish, in my opinion.

I know I've seen pics of them on floats but didn't know if it came ready for floats from the factory.

As someone in the aerial mapping industry those have intrigued me a bit, there's definitely a gap between the C206 and C208.

I meant in *current* production.

Although overall the aerial mapping fleet is quite long in the tooth. No good economic replacements for Navajos and 400 series twin Cessnas in production, especially the flying fuel truck C404. King Airs are too thirsty at many mapping altitudes.
