Found money - what would you do with it.

I would finally be able to afford a day of landing at many many airports near me, all in a row. Lots of navigation and lots of landings and I'm sure it would be a very good way to spend the money. For that amount I might be able to hit 10 airports.

Life aint fair. Youd die to hit 10 airports and my day today has me whooped.

SUN - STS - SFO - LAS - VNY - ASE

(For the non-believers out there feel free to flightaware it. (VNR161))

Okay so let's say you win $500 in the elite raffle. Only rules are you have to spend it on something for you. It can't be used to pay bills or invest what do you buy?

I would fly home in my rental aircraft and take my parents out to dinner. It's about $400 for me to get home and back so $100 would be a reasonable dinner. for 3 :)

Hooker and an eight ball.

Man... That airframe was in Jackson Hole yesterday... Say hey when you come back..

I'd probably buy an interesting piece of junk. An old flathead Ford engine, for example. Almost nothing makes me happier than bringing some old mechanical thing back to life.

It is a lot of fun isn't it?:D When I first had my license I did a midsummer cruise up from Wilmington CA to the PNW for a CCA summer cruise. We had the worlds oldes operating Atlas Imperial Diesel from 1927, and let me tell you, that is a tunable engine while it is running. You had to manually oil the valve train and accessory drives every 2 hrs. It only took 20 seconds with a big squirt can but you had a view of everything and could adjust it. It had leather clutches that had to be frequently adjusted and relined. The beauty of it was it was only 300rpm wide open, so it was a big engine that swung a massive flywheel and 7' prop. You could adjust the fuel at every cylinder to match pyros exactly where you want them, or as once I dialed the pressure down due to a cracked head and I ran it to the next port at reduced pressure where it wasn't putting combustion gas in the water jacket. That engine had a roller tappet cam as well.

- MES rating/CPL/IA. Sadly; the FSDO was checking the DPE. So they very
CAREFULLY examined my logbook to verify the experience listed on the
8710. They were *VERY* suspicious of B747 and TF-51 entries.

Where on an 8710 is aircraft model ever listed?

Upgrade my iPad.

No, too practical.

I would get a cool leather Flying Jacket with a good friend of mine's WWII airplane, (A B-26, "Bad Penny") on the back and give it to him.

Cheers
