Fort Lauderdale to Shuttle Landing Facility

Looks like I'm going to be in the FLL area for work in September and am thinking on taking the opportunity to rent for 3-4 hours with a CFI to do the famous approach to the Shuttle facility.

Does anybody have recommendations on FBOs and airports in the area?
I can move further north if necessary but would like to avoid the PBI area TFRs

I’ve heard of that approach, looks super cool I’d love to do it someday.

I’m from Fort Lauderdale, and personally just did my PPL at Pompano Airpark. Great place there called Dare to Dream Aviation, if you’re looking for a CFI to go with I think they would be a great option.

More south, North Perry airport in Hollywood is another good option, tons of FBOs and Flight schools there as well.

There are no TFRs at PBI during this time of year, POTUS doesn’t like the heat and humidity.
